The renowned Dragon Boat Festival, which is also known as Tuen Ng, falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. It commemorates the death of Qu Yuan, a Chinese poet and minister known for his patriotism and contributions to classical poetry and who eventually became a national hero.

The ECO Expo Asia was established in December of 2005 and was held at the Asia World-Expo (AWE). It has become a world-class venue in Hong Kong, offering over 70,000 square meters of rentable spaces for exhibitions, conventions, concerts, sports and entertainment events.
