Group Tour Activity to Chengdu
There is an old saying in China: “ While water can carry a boat, it can also overturn it.” Employees are the foundation and cornerstone of an enterprise. In order to reflect the humanized care of our company, and let employees feel the warmth, Toppla organized a 5-day and 4-night group tour activity from Feb. 23th to Feb. 27th. This time we came to a beautiful city- Chengdu.
The first scenic we visited was the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area. Situated in the north-west of Sichaun Province, the Huanglong valley is made up of snow-capped peaks and the easternmost of all the Chinese glaciers. In addition to its mountain landscape, diverse forest ecosystems can be found, as well as spectacular limestone formations, waterfalls and hot springs. The area also has a population of endangered animals, including the giant panda and the Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkey.
The second scenic is the Jiuzhaigou National Park. The elevation varies from 6,600 to 14,800 feet (2,000 to 4,500 m). The Jiuzhaigou valley falls within the Min Mountains and serves as the heart of the national park. The national park is renowned for its beautifully colored lakes, the numerous layered waterfalls, and peaks that are frequently snow-capped.
Long Lake is the lake at the highest elevation. It is also the deepest lake while displaying some of the most magnificent blue and green colors while having mountains serve as backdrops around it. It is incredibly picturesque. There are several other scenic lakes such or bodies of water such as the Five Colors Pond.
Of course, we also went to the Tibetan area of Sichuan province. We have experienced the local food and clothes. And the beautiful village full of ethnic customs is exquisite, let us forget to return. The warm hospitality of the local people made us feel warm and happy.
And finally, we went to Cheng du Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, we saw our national treasure--giant panda there. The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (or Chengdu Panda Base for short) specializes in baby pandas and their care. It's one of the most popular destinations to see pandas. And it's a must-go place when you go to Chengdu. Chengdu Panda Base not only takes care of breeding pandas, but also focuses on providing interactive activities that teach people about pandas and their protection. Besides cute giant pandas, there are also red pandas, black swans, and peacocks in the base.
Soon, our tour came to an end. We set foot on the plane for the return journey full of reluctance and our hearts have been healed by those beautiful scenery and delicious food.
